Breadboards & Protoboards Philippines: Solderless & Perfboard | Circuitrocks

Breadboards & Protoboards at Circuitrocks — From Idea to Solid Circuit

Prototype faster with our curated breadboards and protoboards—from solderless breadboards for quick experiments to perfboard, stripboard, and dot-matrix PCBs for permanent builds. Ideal for Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, robotics, and classroom labs.

Solderless Breadboards • Perfboard • Stripboard • Dot-Matrix PCBs

Why shop breadboards & protoboards here

  • Maker-tested quality: Boards that actually grip jumper wires and headers well.
  • Beginner to advanced: From first LED on a breadboard to neat soldered controller boards.
  • PH support: Local help from Circuitrocks when traces, rails, or connections get confusing.

Popular builds

  • Breadboard Arduino/ESP32 sensor demos and school activities
  • Robot control boards on perfboard or stripboard
  • Power distribution boards with screw terminals and fuses
  • Custom “shield-style” boards for Uno, Nano, and ESP modules

Recommended add-ons

Featured categories in this collection

Solderless Breadboards

  • Full-size & mini breadboards with power rails
  • Stick-on backs for mounting in kits and project boxes
  • Great for quick experiments and classroom teaching

Perfboard & Stripboard

Proto PCBs & Shields

Tip: Use solderless breadboards while experimenting, then migrate to perfboard, stripboard, or proto shields once the circuit is stable—especially for robots and student projects that will be carried around.

Breadboard & protoboard chooser (quick guide)

Need Good first choice Notes
Fast experiment / classroom exercise Full-size breadboard + jumper kit Best for temporary circuits; easy to rewire during lessons and debugging.
Prototype that will travel or vibrate Perfboard or stripboard Soldered joints hold up better in robots, demo kits, and capstone projects.
Custom shield for Arduino/ESP Proto shield matching your board Lets you build your own shield: add sensors, headers, and terminals on top of Uno/Mega.
Small breakout or adapter boards Small dot-matrix protoboards Ideal for converting modules to headers, or combining a few parts into one tiny PCB.
Power & field wiring Perfboard + screw terminals Use with thicker wire for motors, pumps, or external I/O coming from outside the enclosure.
Capstone / thesis main board Larger FR4 perfboard Gives a cleaner, more “finished” look for panel defense and competitions.

Use these as starting points—always consider current, voltage, and how often the project will be rewired or moved.

Starter bundles

  • Intro Lab Pack: Breadboard + jumper set + Arduino/ESP32 + LEDs & resistors
  • Robot Control Board: FR4 perfboard + headers + motor driver + screw terminals
  • Sensor Breakout Kit: Small protoboards + pin headers + assorted sensors
  • Capstone Wiring Kit: Large protoboard + terminals + hook-up wire + heat shrink

FAQ

Should I start on a breadboard or protoboard?

If you’re still experimenting, start on a solderless breadboard. Once your circuit is final, move it to perfboard or a proto PCB so it’s stronger and less likely to come loose.

Why are my breadboard connections unreliable?

Very thin jumpers, bent pins, or worn-out breadboards can cause intermittent contacts. Use good-quality boards and jumper wires, and avoid over-flexing the same rows repeatedly.

What wire should I use on perfboard?

Use solid-core wire for short on-board jumpers, and stranded wire for connections that will flex or leave the board (motors, external sensors, power).

Can I mount these boards inside an enclosure?

Yes. Many perfboards and proto PCBs have mounting holes. You can also use standoffs, screws, or 3D-printed brackets to secure them inside a case.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes—Circuitrocks ships breadboards, protoboards, and other prototyping supplies anywhere in the Philippines with fast handling on in-stock items.
