Refund policy

We want you happy with what you build. If the part is defective, wrong, damaged in transit, or just doesn't fit your project, you can return it. Filed within 30 days, you get a full refund or a replacement.
Return window
30 days from the date you received the package. No matter the reason — defective, wrong item, damaged, change of mind — you have 30 days to start a return.
What's returnable

Return shipping — free for every return
We cover return shipping for every approved return, regardless of reason. We email you a prepaid courier label or arrange courier pickup at our cost. You never pay to send something back.
Restocking fee
None. Zero. The refund equals 100% of what you paid for the item.
How to start a return
- Email returns@circuit.rocks within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, the item, and a short note on the reason. Photos help us speed up defective / damaged claims.
- We reply within 1 business day with an RMA reference and a prepaid return label.
- Drop the package off at the courier (or wait for the scheduled pickup).
- Our QC team inspects within 5 business days of receiving the parcel.
- Approved returns are refunded or replaced per the table below.
Refund method and timing

Store credit can be applied to any future order, has no expiry, and never reduces in value. Refunds always go back to the original payment method by default — store credit is offered as an option, never forced.
Replacements
Prefer a working unit over a refund? Tell us in the return email. If we have it in stock, we ship the replacement at our cost the same day your return is approved. If it's out of stock, we offer a refund or let you wait — your choice.
What we don't accept
To keep the policy honest, a small set of items can't come back:
- Items damaged by user error after testing — reverse polarity, over-voltage, physical abuse, water immersion (where not rated).
- Software, digital downloads, license keys, gift cards.
- Custom-cut wire, custom-soldered, or special-order items made to your spec.
Everything else — including sale and clearance items — is covered by the 30-day window.
Items damaged on delivery
Inspect your parcel before signing. If the outer box is visibly crushed, soaked, or open, refuse delivery or note the damage with the courier before signing. Photograph the package on arrival — these photos let us file a courier claim and ship a replacement faster.
Lost packages
If tracking has not moved for 7 consecutive days, contact us. We open a courier claim. Once the courier confirms loss (typically within 30 days) we ship a replacement at no extra charge, or refund the full order.
Manufacturer warranty
Some items carry a manufacturer warranty that extends beyond our 30-day window (Raspberry Pi boards, Acebott kits, certain power tools, multimeters). After the 30-day return window closes, we'll route you to the manufacturer's RMA process and help where we can.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order anytime before it ships. Email returns@circuit.rocks with your order number. If the parcel has already left the warehouse, treat it as a return once delivered.
