Solid State Relay 40A 3-32V DC Input

Solid State Relay 40A 3-32V DC Input -  A solid-state relay (SSR) allows you to control high-current AC loads from lower voltage DC control circuitry. Solid-state relays have several advantages over mechanical relays. One such advantage is that they can be switched by a much lower voltage and at a much lower current than most mechanical relays. Also, because there are no moving contacts, solid-state relays can be switched much faster and for much longer periods without wearing out.

This particular SSR can switch current loads of up to 40A with a 3-32V DC input and a zero cross trigger control method. Each one of these relays is equipped with four screw terminals (for use with ring or fork connectors) and a plastic cover that slides over the top of the relay to protect the terminals.

QUICK SPECS:

  • Trigger Current: 7.5mA/12V
  • Control Voltage: 24-380V AC
  • Input Voltage: 3-32V DC
  • Zero Cross

40A 3-32V DC InputSolid State Relay – Description

A Solid State Relay is regarded as an electronic switching device that is directed to switch on/off upon applying an external voltage (AC or DC) across all of its control terminals. These circuitry units manage to perform the same function that an electromechanical relay does. It also offers a longer operation span since solid-state electronics involve no moving parts.

Further, solid-state relays feature a sensor that is intended to respond to an appropriate input. It also creates signals for an electronic switching device that switches power to the load circuitry. The mechanism hosts a coupling structure to enable the control signal to further activate this switch without mechanical parts. A solid-state relay permits users to control high-current AC loads from the significant lower voltage DC control circuitry. As compared to mechanical relays, solid-state relays compile numerous advantages. Among other benefits, one is that a much lower voltage and current can switch the relay than many mechanical relays.

Since there is no moving part involved, SSRs can be switched much faster and can be dragged for a long time without any wear and tear. Moreover, the relay module can switch current loads of up to 40A with a 3-32V DC input. There are four screw terminals that can be used with ring or fork connectors. Also, the relay hosts a plastic cover that can slide over the top to protect the integrated terminals.

Features:

The 40A Solid State Relay is a great composition of several features and characteristics. It is a proficient unit to control high voltage current and manage other circuitry profiles. Some of the key highlights of the SSRs are as given below:
