Raspberry Pi Compute module 3+
Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ (CM3+) is designed for industrial and embedded applications, offering the same powerful computing performance of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ in a more flexible form factor. With a standard SODIMM connector, the CM3+ allows developers to integrate Raspberry Pi functionality into custom hardware designs, making it ideal for prototyping, scaling, and mass production.
The CM3+ is powered by a Broadcom BCM2837B0 quad-core processor running at 1.2GHz, paired with 1GB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. Storage options vary depending on the model, with eMMC flash memory or a “Lite” version that allows external storage via the user’s design.
Variations
-
CM3+ Lite
• No onboard eMMC storage
• Requires external storage (SD card or user-supplied eMMC via carrier board)
• Best for flexible prototyping and applications requiring external memory -
CM3+ 8GB
• 8GB eMMC flash storage
• Compact and reliable storage solution for lightweight applications -
CM3+ 16GB
• 16GB eMMC flash storage
• Balanced choice for most embedded projects with moderate storage needs -
CM3+ 32GB
• 32GB eMMC flash storage
• Largest onboard capacity, suitable for data-intensive applications
