Servo Motor Metal Gear MG995
This servomotor MG995 is metal-geared, which gives more torque as well as wore gear strength.
Its size is a standard-sized servo, which makes it easier to pair with most servo accessories like a servo horn, a servo bracket, and more. This servo uses 4.8V to 6V supply.
The torque or the lifting power of this servo depends on the power supply it has. It can lift from 9.4kg-cm to 11kg-cm with power supply from 4.8V to 6V. The motor speed is 0.20 sec per 60° and 0.16 sec per 60°, respectively.
Using a PWM signal from your Arduino board, you can control the angle of this motor. It needs PWM, PWR, and GND pins from your Arduino board only.
You might need an external power supply when powering up multiple servos at once since an MCU could only give an insufficient amount of current.
It is suitable for projects that need an angle-controlled motor like a swaying ultrasonic sensor to check its surroundings.
