USB Serial Adapter with XBEE Mount / Rail for Arduino

Serial ports are communication interfaces from one device to another; for example, a computer to a monitor. As of present times, lesser computers are having that port available and replaced with a more compact yet fast port, the USB.

This USB serial adapter has an embedded FT232 chip, which is a USB-to-Serial converter. It has a 6-pin connector on one end and a USB mini port to the other end. It also has built-in XBEE sockets with 20 2mm pins.

It has a built-in LED that indicates the state of the board connected to this adapter. It has a power output of 3.3V and 5V.

The I/O ports in this adapter are 3.3V and 5V compatible.

This adapter can program MCUs like a Lilypad, Arduino Pro, and Pro Mini, and other variants of Arduino that has no built-in USB compatibility. It is also useful in connecting your PC to different wireless applications using the XBEE compatible modules.
