Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →The Temperature and Humidity Capacitive Digital AM2302 DHT22 Sensor is a temperature and humidity sensor with 1-wire designed for climate logging, weather nodes, and room monitoring. It is a practical fit for makers, students, and engineers who want reliable sensor data in embedded builds.
Key details include Interface: 1-Wire.
| Product | Sensor style | Standout |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature and Humidity Capacitive Digital AM2302 DHT22 Sensor | temperature and humidity sensor with 1-Wire | Current item |
| Temperature & Humidity Capacitive Digital AM2301 DHT21 Sensor | temperature and humidity sensor with 1-Wire | SPI interface, analog output |
| Temperature and Humidity Sensor DHT22 Module | temperature and humidity sensor with digital output | digital output, humidity sensing |
| DHT11 Digital Temperature/Humidity Sensor Module | temperature and humidity sensor with analog and digital output | digital output, humidity sensing |
This sensor is a good fit for weather stations, room monitors, greenhouses, incubators, and climate data loggers.
Pair it with an Arduino-compatible board, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi, plus a breadboard or jumper wires for quick setup and testing.
Useful add-ons include probe mounts, thermal paste if needed, and a data logger, depending on how you plan to power, mount, and log the sensor.

Connect power, ground, and the data line to your controller. Most 1-Wire setups also need a pull-up resistor on the data line. Sensor response time depends on airflow, mounting, and thermal contact. Keep heat sources and self-heating from nearby parts in mind.
