1-channel relay board with a built-in NE555 timer. Power it and the relay flips after an adjustable delay, tune it from 0 to 10 seconds with the onboard pot. No microcontroller needed for simple timed switching.
Runs on 12V DC. The relay contacts handle real loads, so you can switch lights, motors, or mains gear with a small control signal.

Put a diode in series on the supply to guard against reverse polarity and spikes. Mains switching is dangerous, only wire it up if you know what you're doing.
