Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →This 5mm heat shrink tubing (2 meters) is a reliable way to insulate solder joints, reinforce wire splices, and protect cables from abrasion. Slide it over the joint, apply heat, and get a clean, professional-looking finish that holds better than tape for many builds.
Pick a size that can easily slide over the widest part of your joint or connector before shrinking, then tightens snugly around the cable after heating. For best results, measure the outside diameter of the wire bundle or connector area you need to cover.
| Diameter | Product | Length | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2mm | Heat Shrink Tube 2mm 2M | 2 meters | Thin wires, sensor leads, small solder joints |
| 5mm | Heat Shrink Tube 5mm 2M | 2 meters | General wiring, Dupont/JST leads, small repairs |
| 7mm | Heat Shrink Tube 7mm 2M Polyolefin | 2 meters | Medium gauge wire, thicker joints, grouped leads |
| 20mm | Heat Shrink Tube 20mm 2M Polyolefin | 2 meters | Cable bundles, harness wrapping, larger joints |
| 25mm | Heat Shrink Tube 25mm 2M Polyolefin | 2 meters | Large bundles, thick wiring, heavy-duty coverage |
Note: Shrink ratio and wall thickness can vary by batch. If you need a specific spec (for example, 2:1 or 3:1), message us and we’ll verify based on current stock labeling.
