Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver for DC or Steppers 600mA L293D

Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver for DC or Steppers 600mA L293D -  If your motor driver shield suddenly goes crazy, it is probably time to replace your driver chip. You can use this Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver to create your own motor driving circuit or replace the faulty chip on your driver modules. It contains two full H-bridges that can drive four solenoids, two DC motors, or one stepper motor at 600mA output. Furthermore, it has built-in kick-back diodes, so you won't have to worry about it damaging your Arduinos or microcontroller boards. Just like any driver, you can use PWM to control motor speed. It works with 5V logic and can support motor voltages between 4.5V and 36V.

How to control a stepper motor with an L293D motor driver?

Step 1: Connect All VCC. Connect all the pins requiring 5V power with the breadboard wires.

Step 2: Connect the Common Ground.

Step 3: Connect the Signal Wires.

Step 4: Connect the Stepper.

Step 5: Coding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1) How many motors can a Steppers 600mA L293D control?

Answer) Up to two DC motors can be controlled at once by a Steppers 600mA L293D motor in any direction.

Question 2) How much voltage does Steppers 600mA L293D need?

Answer)  At voltages ranging from 4.5 V to 36 V, the Steppers 600mA L293D is designed to produce bidirectional drive currents of up to 1 A.

Question 3) Does Steppers 600mA L293D motor need a flyback diode?

Answer) The Steppers 600mA L293D motor has internal flyback diodes and without flyback, it does not work
