Precision Instrumentation Amplifier — AD620 Module

The AD620 Signal Amplifier Module is a low-noise instrumentation amplifier designed to amplify tiny microvolt and millivolt signals — the kind produced by strain gauges, thermocouples, load cells, biomedical sensors (ECG/EMG), and other precision measurement devices. Unlike audio amplifiers, this module is built for DC and low-frequency signal conditioning.

This is not an audio amplifier. The AD620 is a precision instrumentation amplifier for sensor signal conditioning. Looking for audio? See our audio amplifier modules.

Why choose it

  • High gain accuracy: Gain set by a single external resistor
  • Low noise: 9 nV/√Hz — ideal for microvolt-level signals
  • High CMRR: Excellent common-mode rejection for noisy environments
  • Low power: Only 1.3 mA max supply current
