Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →If you are having trouble with lacking Analog pins, you could find this module handy in adding extra analog pins.
This module operates with power from 2.0V to 5.5V, and with low current consumption at only 150µA, and has auto shutdown function.
You could also program the data rate from 8SPS(Samples per second) to 860 SPS. It is a component that uses the I2C protocol and can be addressed from 0x48 to 0x4b using a jumper cap. It has four single-ended or two differential inputs.
This module has internal low-drift voltage reference, an internal oscillator, and an internal PGA to do the readings more accurately.
To interface this with your Arduino, you need to connect it to the Arduino's I2C (SDA/SCL) pins as well as having the power
(VCC/GND) for this module.
You may use this with Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU, and another microcontroller that lacks analog pins.
