shop/ cellular/ gsm gprs module sim800l v2 -

Compact quad-band GSM/GPRS module for adding 2G cellular to a project. Send SMS, make calls, or push data over GPRS. Talks to your microcontroller over a plain TTL serial link with AT commands, so it pairs easily with Arduino, ESP, or a Pi.

Note the power draw: it needs 3.4-4.4V and can pull 1A+ in bursts during transmit. A weak 3.3V pin off a dev board won't cut it, use a dedicated supply.

Specs

Bands Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz
Supply 3.4-4.4V, 1A+ peak

2G only. Check your carrier still runs a 2G network in your area before you build around it.
