Give Your Project a Voice — Emic 2 Text-to-Speech Module

The Emic 2 Text-to-Speech Module converts ASCII text into natural-sounding speech in real time. Send it a string over serial UART and it speaks the words through an attached speaker — no internet connection needed. Built on the DECtalk engine (the same technology used by Stephen Hawking), it supports multiple voices, adjustable pitch, and speech rate control.
