Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →It is a unique kind of resistor designed to protect delicate electrical parts. It is designed to block an electric circuit's surplus current, allowing only the necessary current to flow through and sustain the circuit. A common resistor used in many electronic settings to efficiently control the current and voltage flowing through the circuit boards is the Resistor Through-Hole 470 ohm 5% 1/4W.
A component or electronic device with two ends or terminals is called a resistor. Its primary function in an electric circuit is current management. In an electric circuit, it offers resistance to the current. Ohm's law, which was named after the scientist, states that resistance follows it.
V = I X R, where I is the current, R is the resistance, and V is the voltage.
Resistors come in a variety of sizes, forms, capacities, resistances, and powers. They can also be installed on the surface or through a hole. In the electric circuit, these two are utilized based on necessity.
A resistor with a value of 470 ohms will withstand an electric current in a certain area by 470 ohms. This will be done to safeguard the circuit's constituent parts. The resistance that the electric current in a circuit will encounter increases with the value of the resistance.
5% indicates that the resistance can vary from 446 ohms, which is 5% less, to 493 ohms, which is 5% more than the stated figure of 470 ohms. It is the tolerance value. Between two resistance values, it will withstand the current. 0.25 watts of energy can be transferred through the resistor. It doesn't have to take this long. You can use its power capability for a variety of domestic applications.
A resistor divides the circuit's voltage and permits a regulated current flow. Additionally, it guards against excessive electric current damaging the various electronic components. It allows the electricity to pass smoothly through it and other electric components.
It is readily applicable to a wide range of projects, including do-it-yourself projects, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, other electronic circuits, LED lights or circuits, and many more.
ΩMG! You're not going to be able to resist these handy resistor packs! Well, axially, they do all of the resisting for you!
This is a 25 Pack of 470Ω Resistors. More specifically, they are carbon film, through-hole axial type, with 1/4 Watt max dissipation, 300V max voltage, 5% precision resistors. Whew! These are super common and great for use in any kit, breadboard, perf-board, or other project. We got ones with 0.4mm thick wires so they plug in nicely into solder-less breadboards.
