Q: How do I read the color code?Brown-Black-Orange-Gold reads as 10,000Ω ±5%. Bands left to right; gold band is the tolerance ring.
Q: Will these fit a standard 2.54mm breadboard?Yes. 0.4mm lead diameter slides into 2.54mm holes without forcing.
Q: Why 10K over other values?Standard pick for I2C pull-ups, MCU input pull-up/down, and op-amp voltage dividers. High enough to keep current low, low enough to fight noise.
