Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →It is a special type of resistor that keeps sensitive electronic components safe. It is made to resist the excess current in a circuit so that only the required current can pass and support the electric circuit. Resistor Through-Hole 560 ohm 5% 1/4W is a widely used resistor that is fitted in many electronic settings to effectively manage the current through Circuit boards.
The resistor is an electronic device or component with two ends or two terminals. Its main role in an electric circuit is to manage the current. It provides resistance to the current in an electric circuit. Resistance follows Ohm's law, which was named after the scientist.
V = I X R, where V stands for voltage, I stands for the current, and R stands for resistance.
Resistors are of different shapes, sizes, capacity, resistance, power and can be a through hole or mounted on the surface type. These two are used according to need in the electric circuit.
560 ohms means the resistor will resist the electric current in a particular part by 560 ohms. It will be done so to protect the components of the circuit. The more the value of the Ohm, the greater the resistance will be experienced by the electric current in a circuit.
5% means the resistance can fluctuate between 532 ohms, which is 5% less, and 588, which is 5 % more than 560 ohms, which is the written value. It is the value of the tolerance. It will resist the current between two values of resistance. The resistor is capable of taking an energy of 0.25 watts through it. It can take less than this as well. This power capacity is good for many different projects in your household.
A resistor allows a controlled flow of current, and it also splits the voltage in the circuits. It also protects the different electronic components from getting an excess electric current and then getting damaged.
We can use it in various projects like DIY projects, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, other electronic circuits, LED lights or circuits and many other areas easily.
ΩMG! You're not going to be able to resist these handy resistor packs! Well, axially, they do all of the resisting for you!
This is a 25-pack of 560 Ω Resistors. More specifically, they are carbon film, through-hole axial type, with 1/4 Watt max dissipation, 300V max voltage, 5% precision resistors. Whew! These are super common and great for use in any kit, breadboard, perf-board, or another project. We got ones with 0.4 mm-thick wires so they plug in nicely into solder-less breadboards.
