shop/ hdmi cables & adapters/ hdmi to vga + audio adapter

Adapter for running an HDMI source into an old VGA monitor or projector. HDMI plug on one end, VGA DB15 socket on the other, plus a 3.5mm jack for audio (since HDMI carries sound and VGA doesn't). Works with a Pi, laptop, console, or any HDMI output.

Powered straight off the HDMI port, no separate supply. Built-in chip does the conversion. Supports 720p and 1080p.

Specs

In HDMI
Out VGA (DB15) + 3.5mm audio

Conversion is one-way (HDMI to VGA only). You'll also need a male-male VGA cable to reach the monitor. On a Pi, set hdmi_safe=1 in config.txt if it won't display.
