Fingerprint Sensor AS608 - A Beginner's Guide
One touch can replace keys. This project uses an optical fingerprint sensor to enroll users and then grant access with a quick scan.
read tutorial →The Digital Probe Food Thermometer TP101 is a temperature sensor with digital output designed for temperature logging, thermal control, weather nodes, and equipment monitoring. It is a practical fit for makers, students, and engineers who want reliable sensor data in embedded builds.
Key details include Power Supply: 1.5V(AG13)×1Key; Interface: Digital GPIO; Temperature accuracy: ±1°C/°F .
| Product | Sensor style | Standout |
|---|---|---|
| Digital Probe Food Thermometer TP101 | temperature sensor with digital output | Current item |
| W1209 Temperature Control Thermostat Switch | button or switch input module | temperature sensing |
| Temperature Infrared Thermometer Module | infrared proximity sensor | infrared sensing, temperature sensing |
| Thermocouple Wire TP01 | thermocouple module | waterproof build, temperature sensing |
This sensor is a good fit for thermostats, incubators, weather stations, battery packs, 3D printer enclosures, and cold-chain logging.
Pair it with an Arduino-compatible board, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi, plus a breadboard and jumper wires for quick setup and testing.
Useful add-ons include probe mounts, thermal paste if needed, and a data logger, depending on how you plan to power, mount, and log the sensor.
| Product | Digital Probe Food Thermometer TP101 |
|---|---|
| Power Supply | 1.5V(AG13)×1Key |
| Temperature accuracy | ±1°C/°F |
| Item Length | 23.5cm |
| Probe length | 14.6cm |
| Power - saving mode | 10minutes auto power off function |
| Temperature measurement | -50°C~+300°C(-58°F~572°F) |
| Interface | Digital GPIO |
Connect power and ground, then wire the output pin to a digital GPIO input. Check whether the module uses active-high or active-low logic in your code. Sensor response time depends on airflow, mounting, and thermal contact. Keep heat sources and self-heating from nearby parts in mind.
