The classic HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance sensor. Fires 40kHz pulses and times the echo to measure distance with no contact. The workhorse for obstacle-avoidance robots, parking sensors, and level detection.
Four pins and a simple pulse-timing sketch is all you need, no library required. Bracket variants make it easy to mount in a chassis or enclosure. COMBI options pair the sensor with a bracket in one pack.
