TEC1 Series Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier Modules – 40mm, 12V
The TEC1 series thermoelectric cooler modules are solid-state devices that transfer heat from one side to the other, creating a temperature difference when powered. Perfect for cooling, heating, or even power generation applications, they are commonly used in CPU coolers, mini fridges, and thermal experiments.
When powered with the correct polarity (red = positive, black = negative), the side with printed text becomes the cold side, while the opposite side becomes the hot side. As long as a temperature difference exists, these modules can also generate electricity.
Quick Specs:
Models Available: TEC1-12703, 12704, 12705, 12706, 12708, 12709, 12710, 12712, 12715
Size: 40 × 40 × 4mm
Cold Side: Side with printed text
Hot Side: Side without text
Polarity: Red = +, Black = –
Note: Must be used with a suitable heat sink to prevent damage
Applications:
Electronics cooling systems
Portable refrigerators and beverage coolers
Thermal cycling experiments
Low-power electricity generation from heat differenc
