read tutorial →The KY-026 Flame Sensor Module detects infrared light produced by flames. It is suitable for Arduino, microcontroller, robotics, and basic fire detection projects. The sensor responds to infrared wavelengths from about 760 nm to 1100 nm and has a detection angle of around 60 degrees.
This module provides both analog and digital outputs. The analog output gives a changing voltage based on the detected flame strength. The digital output switches between HIGH and LOW when the signal reaches the set limit. You can adjust this limit using the built-in potentiometer.
The board also includes indicator lights for power and digital output status. These lights help users check whether the module is powered and whether a flame signal has been detected. Its small size makes it easy to install on breadboards, robot frames, and project enclosures.
The KY-026 can be used for flame alarms, safety demos, firefighting robot tests, and school electronics projects. It is best used for learning and basic sensing tasks. It should not replace certified fire alarms or safety systems. The board measures about 36 × 16 mm and includes a mounting hole for easier installation.
