read tutorial →The ESP8266 ESP-12F Development Board is a compact Wi-Fi board for connected electronics projects. It can link sensors, lights, switches, and other parts to a local wireless network. This makes it useful for smart-home systems, remote controls, wireless data tracking, and Internet of Things projects.
The board supports Station, Access Point, and combined Station plus Access Point modes. It can connect to an existing Wi-Fi router, create its own wireless network, or perform both tasks at once. The ESP8266 chip also supports common interfaces such as GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C, PWM, and analog input.
A built-in micro-USB port provides power and allows easier programming through the included CH340 interface board. The board also includes a light-dependent resistor for sensing nearby light levels. Its built-in WS2812 RGB LED can display different colors for status signals, alerts, or lighting effects.
Three push buttons are included for testing inputs and controlling program functions. One button is located on the ESP8266 board, while two are found on the programming board. These built-in parts let users test basic functions without adding many external components.
This development board is suitable for Wi-Fi switches, web-controlled lights, sensor dashboards, weather monitors, alarms, and school projects. Its small size also makes it useful for compact prototypes and custom enclosures.
