Waterproof Integrated Ultrasonic Ranging Module- JSN-SR04T - Ultrasonic sensors are also known as sonar sensors. This sensor has two channels, the trigger and echo channel. It works by the trigger channel sending sound waves and the echo channels waiting for the sound wave to bounce back. Distance is measured based on the time the sound wave has bounced back.

This sensor can sense up to 4.5m(450mm). It works with a 5V power supply, with a working current of 30mA, and an idle current of 5mA. It also has an acoustic emission frequency of 40KHz.

This sensor is outdoors capable. The sensor is waterproof but not the primary circuit.
