Infrared Thermometer MLX90614 Breakout Board
This season, IR thermal scanners are in high demand. This sensor checks the temperature of a nearby object even without having contact with it. It could achieve a typical IR thermal scanner because it uses the MLX90614. It is an infrared thermometer that is for non-contact temperature measurements. Inside the TO-39 can, is an integrated IR sensitive thermopile detector chip and a signal conditioning application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).
Integrated into this sensor are a low noise amplifier, a 17-bit ADC, and a powerful DSP unit bus having high accuracy and resolution of the thermometer.
The thermometer is pre-calibrated by the factory with a digital SMBus output giving full access to the measured temperature with a resolution of 0.02°C.
Configures through a 10-bit PWM to transmit the continuously measured temperature ranging from -20°C to 120°C with a resolution of 0.14°C. It could integrate into your Arduino by using the I2C(SDA/SCL) pins and a power supply of 8V to 16V.
